The cervical fluid need to be tested to determine whether it is a quality that will make sperms survive. This test requires you to visit the doctor a few hours after having sex. The doctor will then examine the interaction of the sperms with the cervical fluid making sure they swim in.
This is a sensitive infertility test where the doctor is required to has to measure the hormone level to identify the problem in ovulation. Blood and urine test is carried out to see whether the luteinizing hormones and the progesterone levels are of the acceptable level to allow ovulation to take place. These tests will also help the doctor to identify other problems as thyroid will contribute to female infertility. The rest of the hormones level tests carried are in the stimulating follicle hormone, estradiol and the inhibin B hormones which might cause infertility if not at the required level.
